The validity of all vehicle documents was extended till September 30

The Ministry of Road Transport has decided to increase the validity of vehicle documents in view of the Corona virus epidemic.

The validity date of all documents related to driving license, fitness, permits and registration has been extended till September 30, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Road Transport.

This means that the central government has extended the validity date of all documents related to driving license, fitness, permits and registration till September 30.

Instructions have been issued to all the States and Union Territories in this regard. The validity, which expires on June 30, has now been extended to September 30.

Earlier, on March 30, 2020, it was ordered that the fitness certificates, permits, driving licenses and registrations of vehicles whose validity expires on February 1 or expires on June 30 due to the Corona virus epidemic.

It was extended to June 30. During the two-month lockdown, all work came to a complete standstill.

Earlier, the Insurance Regulatory Authority of India (IRDA) had also issued a notification saying that it would not change the rates of third party insurance premiums till the next financial year.
