At a time when the entire country is being unlocked, the Tamil Nadu government has taken a big decision in view of the uncontrollable Corona cases in Tamil Nadu. The state government has decided to carry out strict lockdown in four districts from June 19 to June 30.

Four districts of Tamil Nadu - Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpettu and Thiruvallur - have decided to carry out strict lockdowns. Each of these districts falls within the area of ​​the Metropolitan Chennai Police.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister EK Palanisamy has termed the lockdown from June 19 to June 30 as Maximized Restricted Lockdown. This is a clear indication that lockdown has been implemented in these four districts. Strictness will be increased in these districts.

Notably, the number of people infected with the corona virus is increasing day by day in Tamil Nadu. So far, the total number in the state has crossed 42 thousand. Of these, Chennai alone has more than 30,000 cases.
