The British drug is effective on corona patients, with 35% recovering

As scientists in various parts of the world suffer from coronary heart disease, British scientists researching a cure for the virus have claimed to have found a drug that can save patients infected with the coronavirus.

Scientists say that the use of a steroid called dexamethasone has reduced the mortality rate of critically ill patients. He also said that a research paper on the drug would be published soon.

According to the research, the drug was given to a total of 2104 patients and compared with 4321 other patients who are being treated normally.

The mortality rate of patients treated with ventilators has dropped to 35 percent since the use of this drug. Mortality has also dropped by 20 per cent in patients who were being given oxygen.

This is a very good result, said Peter Horby, a researcher at Oxford University. Reduced mortality and oxygen-assisted patients have clearly benefited.

Therefore dexamethasone should be used in such patients. The drug is also not expensive and can be used to save the lives of coronavirus patients around the world.

Recent research has also shown that a drug called Hydroxychloroquine, which is useful for the treatment of malaria, is not useful for the treatment of coronavirus.

The research involved more than 11,000 patients in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
