PM Modi explains how pranayama helps in fighting corona disease

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the need for yoga has increased during the Koro crisis. Yoga is proving to be helpful in fighting corona. This time yoga day is also a day of emotional yoga, a day to enhance our bonding. World Brotherhood Day. Yoga is what brings us together. Yoga is the only thing that bridges the gap. It’s a day to enhance our family bounding.


The Prime Minister said that the world is feeling the need for yoga more than ever before because of Corona. If our immunity is strong, it helps in defeating this disease. There are many asanas. Those asanas are the ones that increase the strength of my body. Corona attacks our respiratory system. Pranayama helps in fighting this disease. Usually everyone does anulom vilom pranayama but there are many types of pranayama.


On International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the seeker of yoga never loses patience in crisis. Yoga means Samatvam Yoga properly. In other words, yoga is the name of adversity-adversity, success-failure, happiness-crisis, to be equal in every situation, to be steadfast.

International Yoga Day is being celebrated today amid the Corona crisis. Due to the Corona virus, people are not gathering in one place this time and are celebrating yoga day on digital platforms as well as at home. This is the first time an international yoga day program is being organized on a digital platform.

International Yoga Day has been observed since June 21, 2015. Following the proposal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 11 December 2014, 21 June 2015 was declared as International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly.
