Plasma therapy given to Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain

Satyendra Jain, the health minister of the Delhi government, has been given plasma therapy after contracting the corona virus. He is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital, Saket, Delhi where he was given plasma therapy. He was admitted to the hospital late Monday night due to fever and difficulty in breathing and on medical examination he was found to be positive for corona. He was shifted to Max Hospital on Friday after his health deteriorated.

The CT scan report found that a patch in the health minister's lung had become too large to exacerbate the problem. He was shifted to Max for plasma therapy at the insistence of the family which was not approved by Rajiv Gandhi Hospital.

Satyendra Jain has been kept on oxygen support since Friday as he was having difficulty breathing. He was undergoing treatment at the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Delhi and is having difficulty breathing due to increased lung infections.

Satyendra Jain was admitted to the hospital a few days ago due to fever and difficulty in breathing. His corona was then tested. His initial test came negative and since then his condition has started to improve. But in a test two days ago, he tested positive for corona and had difficulty breathing since Friday.

Home Minister Amit Shah prayed for his good health and tweeted, "Pray for the speedy recovery of Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, who is battling the transition." Home Minister Amit Shah has taken on the responsibility of preventing the spread of corona in Delhi. The deputy governor of Delhi also hoped that the health minister would recover soon.
