Peon's daughter gets 94% in SSC board, collector hands over chair for one day

The collector had come up with a new idea to promote the student after finding out that the peon's daughter working in his office had scored 94 per cent in the SSC board exams.

In Kanda district of Himachal Pradesh, Collector Jatin Lal handed over the chair to his peon's daughter Hina from 11 a.m. and he himself sat next to the student.

People who came to the collector's office to make a presentation were also surprised to see 14-year-old Hina sitting in a chair. People lodged their grievances with the student and Collector Jatin Lal instructed Hina on how to respond to the people.

"For me, becoming a collector for one day is like a dream. I will work hard now to make this dream come true," says Hina.

"When the pawnbroker told me that my daughter had passed with 94 per cent marks, I decided to honor her by calling her to the office," said Collector Jatin Lal. , He should be handed this chair for a day.

He said the intention behind the decision was to encourage society to educate daughters.
