Jammu, Ta. Monday, June 22, 2020

Ceasefire has been violated by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. The firing was carried out by Pakistan in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu. Pakistan fired in the Naushera sector of Rajouri and the Krishna Valley sector of Poonch. However, the Indian Army is also responding to Pakistan's firing.

It may be mentioned that ceasefire is being violated by Pakistan at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. On Saturday, Pakistan opened fire in two areas of Baramulla district in north Kashmir and in the Naushera sector of Rajouri district. Six people were injured in Pakistani firing at the LOC in Baramulla on Saturday.

Two persons were injured in Saturday's incident at Nambala in Uri while four civilians were injured in a firing by Pakistan with mortars and other weapons on June 20, 2020 in Rampur sector of Baramulla.

In fact, since the clash between the Indian Army and the Chinese Army in the Galvan Valley of Ladakh, Pakistan has been continuously firing on the proximal areas of the LOC. According to the Indian Army, Pakistan is firing at the LOC following a tactic. At the same time, however, the Army expressed confidence that they are fully prepared to face any challenge.
