The tragic case was first reported on social media by a forest officer from Mallapuram, Kerala. The elephant, who lives in the forest, went to a nearby village in search of food.

While wandering on the road, the pregnant elephant was fed pineapple filled with firecrackers by some vampires.

The pregnant elephant was wandering around screaming in pain from the injury. However, she did not harm anyone. Finally, she stood up in the waters of the nearby river Velliar to get rid of the pain.

When the Forest Department officials found out about this, they took two elephants to the river. Seeing them, the elephant might come out. However, the elephant did not come out anyway. On May 27, at four o'clock in the evening, he breathed his last. Even a small life was lost.
