It has been 6 months since the corona transition worldwide but the risk is still the same: WHO

Geneva, Ta. 09 June 2020, Tuesday

The World Health Organization (WHO) said Monday that the Corona virus epidemic is deteriorating worldwide. The WHO says most cases are reported in a single day. He also said that the situation of Covid-19 in the United States is becoming worrisome.

The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) has called on protesters to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus, as demonstrations against racism are taking place in major cities around the world, including the United States.

The corona virus, which came from the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year, killed 4,03,000 people worldwide. More than 7 million people have been infected with the deadly virus. After East Asia, Europe became the epicenter of the virus but has now been replaced by the United States.

"The situation in Europe is improving, but at the global level it is deteriorating," WHO President Tedros Adhnom Grabesius told a virtual conference in Geneva. He said one lakh cases have come up every day in nine of the last 10 days. Yesterday, 1,36,000 new cases were reported, the largest number of corona cases in a single day.

The WHO president said 75 per cent of these cases came from 10 countries, most of which were reported in the US and South Asia. Most people around the world are still hypersensitive to transition.

Tedros said it had been more than six months since the outbreak. This is not the time for any country to reduce epidemic prevention therapies. In response to the May 25 protests in the United States over the assassination of George Floyd, the WHO president said it was important to monitor the activity of the virus in order to prevent its spread.

He said the WHO as a whole supports the global movement for equality and racism. We reject all forms of discrimination. We encourage all those protesting around the world to do so safely.

The WHO president said the organization has sent 5 million PPE kits to 110 countries. The World Health Organization aims to send 1.29 billion PPE kits to 126 countries.
