Amid ongoing tensions on the Ladakh border, talks are also underway between Chinese and Indian military officials.

It is now learned that India has told China in no uncertain terms that not a single Indian army will retreat an inch unless the Chinese troops approaching the LAC withdraw.

According to an English newspaper report, the Indians in Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Sikkim, which are under the Line of Actual Control between China and India, are keeping a close eye on its Chinese movements so that China does not infiltrate any new territory.

According to sources, Indian Army troops have been deployed in the area from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh. In the Eastern Sector, three units of the Army have been sent to the front hills. Each unit has about 10,000 troops.
