Amid rising corona cases in India, a study has found that women in India have a higher risk of dying from corona than men.

As of May 20, the death toll from corona was 3.3 percent for women and 2.9 percent for men. Researchers say women need to be more vigilant.

The figures were jointly studied by the Population Research Center of the Indian Institute of Economic Growth and a research institute in the United States. As of May 20, the number of corona-infected patients was 66 percent for men and 34 percent for women.
