Do what you have to do, I am not Indira's granddaughter, unannounced BJP spokesperson: Priyanka responds to notice

New delhi date. 26 June 2020, Friday

The issue has heated up politics after several girls were found infected with corona at a Kanpur shelter home. The Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission had sent a notice to Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on the issue. Then this morning Priyanka Gandhi has given her answer on this issue. Priyanka Gandhi said that she is the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, not an unannounced spokesperson of the BJP.

Priyanka Gandhi wrote in her tweet, "As a servant of the people, my duty is to the people of UP and that duty is to put the truth in front of them." No government propaganda to put forward. The UP government is wasting its time by making false threats against me through its other departments.

Priyanka Gandhi further wrote that whoever wants to take action should do so. I will stand up against the truth. I am the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, not an unannounced spokesperson of the BJP like some leaders of the Opposition.

A few days ago, 57 girls tested positive for the corona virus at a shelter home in Kanpur. Apart from that about 6 of them were pregnant and since then Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been chewing on the issue.

A few days ago, Priyanka Gandhi in her Facebook post said that some underage girls of Kanpur Shelter Home were pregnant and especially infected with HIV, Hepatitis C. This led to a notice being issued by the region's child protection commission. The notice stated that legal action would be taken if the post was not removed within three days.
