Digvijay Singh questions Dhinganu on Rajiv Gandhi Foundation video on Twitter

New Delhi, Ta, 29 June 2020 Monday

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh is often the talk of the town because of his statements. Congress leader and former chief minister Digvijay Singh has taken to micro-blogging site Twitter. Digvijay Singh tweeted about the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation's video and asked, "Is Twitter working on the instructions of a powerful person in India?" Why is a harmless informative video of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation not being accepted on Twitter? Twitter needs clarification on this issue. Will he answer? Let's see. Otherwise I have to find a legal alternative.

The BJP had questioned the Congress over the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation's funding and Chinese connections. BJP president JP Nadda said the PM was a national relief fund to serve the people and provide relief to them. Where did the money of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation go till his year 2005-08? JP Nadda said the PMNRF was created to help people in crisis but the rupee was being donated to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation during the UPA tenure.

Who was on the board of PMNRF? Sonia Gandhi. Who is the Chairman of RGF? Sonia Gandhi. The people of India donated their hard earned money to the PMNRF to help their fellow citizens in times of need. Transferring this public wealth to a family-run foundation is not only a serious fraud but also a great betrayal of the people of India.

On BJP's questions, the Congress party said that the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation had received a general fund of Rs 20 lakh from the PMNRF in 2005-06. Which was used in relief works in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apart from this, no rupee has been received from PMNRF.
