Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain in critical condition, kept on oxygen support in ICU

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, who is battling corona at the Delhi government's Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, is in critical condition. He was kept on oxygen support in the ICU after a lung infection developed, but is now being moved to Max Hospital in Saket where he will be given plasma therapy for COVID-19.

Health Minister Satyendra Jain tested positive for corona virus on Wednesday. Satyendra Jain was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital in East Delhi on Monday night after suffering from high fever, shortness of breath and lack of oxygen and symptoms like corona. His condition improved slightly on Thursday, but his fever did not go away. The 55-year-old health minister is being given oxygen support as needed.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday tweeted that Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain, who is suffering from corona infection, has prayed for a speedy recovery.

Sources in the Delhi government said that those who came in contact with Satyendra Jain in the last few days are also being identified and will be sent to isolation on the advice of doctors.

Corona tests were done twice

Notably, Satyendra Jain had a fever and difficulty in breathing a few days ago. Later, he was admitted to the hospital. Subsequently, his corona was tested. Initially, however, the test was negative.

Thereafter, his health began to improve. However, Satyendra Jain was tested for another corona two days ago. In which, they came positive. Now he was having trouble breathing once again.

Let me tell you that Satyendra Jain was holding meetings continuously before Korona came positive. He was also present at a meeting held by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the Delhi issue.

Among them were Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. Apart from Delhi's health minister, Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA from Kalkaji assembly seat Atishino Korona also tested positive.
