The number of corona virus cases in Delhi is steadily increasing and new records are being set every day. In the midst of all this, there is speculation that a lockdown will be imposed once again. However, on Friday, state health minister Satyendra Jain made it clear that the lockdown in Delhi would not be extended.

More than 1,000 cases of corona have been reported in Delhi every day for the past one week and a record 1,800 cases were reported yesterday. Seeing the way the virus is spreading in these circumstances, people thought that the sanctions would be increased but Satyendra Jain has put an end to all speculations.

He also questioned why he did not send any details to the Delhi government on the issue of death due to corona virus released by MCD. He demanded a report from MCD on the name, age and corona being positive. He said the MCD was responsible for the funeral management in the case of the cremation video.

According to Satyendra Jain, the central government has been asked to arrange an ICU bed. Also, if the MCD has a hospital, it can start treatment of covid from today and preparations are underway at the banquet hall-stadium to increase the number of beds, he said.

The Delhi MCD has so far claimed that it has cremated the bodies of more than 2,000 people suffering from corona. However, according to Delhi government figures, only 1,000 people have died in Delhi due to the corona, sparking controversy.
