Community transmission of Corona in Goa has started: CM Pramod Sawant

Corona cases are on the rise across the country. Regarding Corona, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that community transmission of Corona has now started in the state. New cases of the corona virus are rapidly emerging from various parts of the state.

The Chief Minister further said, "We acknowledge that community transmission has started in the state but the information of the transition comes from some common features." Community transmission has started in the last few days in the state government. As a result, those entering the state will have to undergo a corona test and stay home quarantined for 14 days.

Morlem village in Vascoma Mangor Hill and Sattari taluka is the containment zone while the state has some smaller containment zones. In Goa, 1039 positive cases have been reported. While 44 new cases and 2 people have died from corona as well as 370 people have recovered and 667 are positive cases. There have been 60,305 tests for the corona virus so far.

5 lakh cases of corona virus

According to sources, there have been 5 lakh cases of corona virus in the country. In Maharashtra, 5024 new cases have come up. While the country's capital Delhi has 3460 new cases.
