Climate change, rain may fall in these states in next 48 hours

With the arrival in the southern part of India, the monsoon has picked up speed. Which has crossed Chennai, Chittoor, Tumukuru, Shimoga, Karwar. The monsoon is likely to hit Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the next 48 hours. The low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal is likely due to cyclonic winds. The pressure zone formed in the Bay of Bengal will give more momentum to the monsoon and it will move faster.


According to the meteorological department, low pressure is expected over the East-Central Bay of Bengal. The monsoon is expected to bring rains in the next 24 hours in the middle of the Arabian Sea, parts of Maharashtra, parts of Karnataka and Rayalaseema, the rest of Tamil Nadu, Odisha, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, North Konkan and Kerala.

Apart from this, due to pre-monsoon activities, heavy rains are also expected in Chhattisgarh and some parts of South Madhya Pradesh till June 12. According to the meteorological department, strong winds are expected in the Bay of Bengal in the east-south, south-west and west-central Arabian Sea and coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh. This has instructed the fishermen in these areas of the mid-season department to stay away and land in the sea.
