Chinese infiltration deadlock in Pangong Lake area of Ladakh still lingers

Leh, Dt. 13 Saturday 2020, Saturday

In the ongoing dispute between India and China over the Ladakh border with China, the issue of infiltration in the Pangong Lake area is not going away.

There have been reports of Chinese troops withdrawing from the Galvan Valley area, but the situation in the Pyongyang Lake area remains the same. Chinese troops are still stranded here.

China wants to talk about the Pyongyang area after the dispute over Galvan is resolved. Chinese troops have set up camps in areas that have always been under Indian control. China is in the process of changing its position in the area known as Finger Four, while India is asking China to evacuate the area.

Pegong Lake is divided into a total of eight finger areas. Finger Four has been infiltrated and occupied by Chinese troops. From here, they are refusing to allow the Indian patrol team to proceed.
