China is not releasing the death toll for fear of the US

Beijing, June 18, 2020, Thursday

At least 20 Indian soldiers have been killed in a violent clash between India and China on the Ladakh front. On the other hand, Chinese troops have also been killed. However, China has not yet released the number of its troops killed.

"We have not released the figure to avoid further escalation of tensions, but it has now been revealed that China has hidden the number of soldiers killed for fear of the US," China said.

According to the Chinese newspaper, an important meeting was to take place between China and the United States. As a result, China tried to downplay the whole incident, as part of which China did not release the death toll.

"Soldiers from both sides have been killed in the clashes," said Zhang Shuili, a Chinese military spokesman.

Chinese military sources say China is sensitive to the deaths of its troops. Chinese President Xi Jinping will personally approve the death toll. Xi Jinping is the army chief and has a hand in every military action.
