Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting of the Union Cabinet today in which important decisions were taken which were briefed by three senior government ministers. In which the terminology of MSME will be revised.
The decisions taken at the Modi cabinet meeting to gear up against Korona were informed through a press conference. In which important announcements have been made regarding farmers and industries. Regarding the decisions taken in the cabinet, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that a proposal of Rs 20,000 crore has been approved for MSMEs. Which will increase employment opportunities, the decision of the cabinet will also benefit millions of farmers.
Javadekar said that the minimum support price of 14 crops of farmers' kharif crop 20-21 has been announced. Farmers will get 50 to 83% more price on these crops.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that there are 6 crore MSMEs in the country. MSMEs have created more than 11 crore jobs in the country. 25 lakh MSMEs are expected to be restructured. The turnover limit in the small sector has been raised to Rs 50 crore. MSME is currently going through a rough time. 2 lakh MSMEs will be started with new funds. A fund of Rs 4 crore has been sanctioned to uplift the weak industries.
