Amid tensions in the Galvan Valley, discussions with China, deployed 1000-1000 troops on both sides

Ladakh, Ta. Monday, June 22, 2020

There was a bloody clash between the armies of India and China in the Galvan Valley on June 15 and since then a strange kind of peace has prevailed on the border. However the tension is still intact. The matter has been discussed between the two countries several times so far but no dispute has arisen. However, more than a thousand troops are deployed on both sides. In the midst of this situation the armies of the two countries will once again discuss on Monday.

The armies of both the countries are now preparing to strengthen themselves in the PP 14 area of Galvan Valley. The Chinese army i.e. PLA is present at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with artillery and tanks. So the Indian Army is also fully prepared and strengthening its deployment.

"There has been no significant change on the ground," an official said of the current state of the Galvan Valley. There have been no clashes since June 15, but the situation is tense. The situation is similar in Galvan and Pangong Tso. '

It is learned that the Indian Army, which seems to be moving towards China, is also preparing and is ready to face any situation. One of the reasons for this is the decline in trust between the two countries' armies since the June 15 incident. Discussions are currently underway between the two countries but no success has been achieved. Under these circumstances, the Indian Army is ready to face any situation. It also includes the withdrawal of Chinese troops from Pangong Lake. The PLA has been camping there for the last few days.

The armies of the two countries had earlier shown readiness for the withdrawal of troops but China violated it and built the post. China has stepped up its deployment near the Pangong Lake region, which has been a stumbling block to the end of tensions between the two countries. China has increased its presence from Finger 4 to Finger 8 which is a disputed area. Under these circumstances, the wrong intention behind China's move seems to be to change the situation. According to a report, Finger 4 has a large number of Chinese troops present.

It is worth mentioning that Pangong Lake is divided into 8 fingers. The part of the surrounding hills that protrudes towards the lake is considered to be the finger. Under normal conditions, the Indian army is present up to Finger 4 and the Chinese army is present at Finger 8. The space between them is disputed where both armies patrol.

India says it has territory up to Finger 8 so China should retreat. This has led to constant disputes between the two countries. The issue was also debated on June 15 and since then India's stance has become tougher. The Government of India has also allowed that no protocol needs to be taken into account when it comes to the lives of our soldiers.
