After Nepal, Bhutan now raised India's concerns, blocking irrigation water in Assam

Neighboring Dasho has begun to raise concerns where India has not yet emerged from China's violent pace in the Galvan Valley amid the Corona virus crisis.

After Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bangladesh, one more neighboring country, Bhutan, has started quarreling with India. Bhutan has withheld irrigation water for farmers in Baksa district of Assam.

About 6000 farmers in more than 26 villages of Baksa district depend on man-made canal dong project for irrigation. Farmers have been using Bhutanese river water for irrigation since 1953. However, now the sudden withdrawal of water from Bhutan is causing outrage among Indian farmers.
