The corona virus has spread to government residences in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and 57 girls have tested positive for corona. Due to this, the district administration has been shaken and at the same time many questions have come up. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has targeted the state government over the issue, calling it government negligence.
Priyanka Gandhi wrote on Sunday that "57 girls have tested positive for corona at the Government Child Protection Home in Kanpur and two of them were found to be pregnant while one tested positive for AIDS."
The incident at Balika Griha in Muzaffarpur (Bihar) is against the country and a similar incident has taken place at Deoria in UP. Then once again this kind of incident comes to the fore which shows that everything is suppressed in the name of investigation. There are a lot of inhumane incidents happening in government child protection homes.
In fact, when the case of Corona virus came up in the girl's house, some other shocking incidents also came up. During the investigation, 7 girls were found to be pregnant and some of them were also infected with corona virus.
DM of Kanpur gave the cleaning
The issue has now also been cleared by the administration. On the issue of controversy, the DM of Kanpur tweeted, “News of two pregnant babies in a positive case of corona in Kanpur Defense House remains to be clarified that both the girls were accommodated in the Defense House in December 2019 by order of CWC Agra and Kannauj under Poxo Act. According to the medical report made at the time, she was already pregnant.
The DM tweeted that some people were spreading completely false news about the Kanpur Defense House with the wrong motive. Such an act is an example of insensitivity in times of crisis. Please do not post any kind of misleading news without checking it. The district administration is continuously collecting facts for necessary action in this regard.
