WHO will now seek financial help from the general public, announcing a new foundation to raise funds

The fight against the corona virus continues around the world. The World Health Organization, which has been accused of failing to address the situation, announced a new foundation on Wednesday. Funds will be raised to fight any epidemic under this foundation. Help will be sought not only from the big countries but also from the common people.

WHO Director Tedros announced on Wednesday that it would be an independent organization. In which funding will be collected by deviating from the present method.

Currently, each member country contributes to the WHO on its own. Based on this, WHO helps in any way by taking the trouble that is coming in the world. The United States has cut off funding to the WHO. The U.S. president accused the WHO of failing to identify the coronavirus and sided with China.

In addition, the US President has written a letter to the WHO director asking him to make major changes in the organization within 30 days. Otherwise the US would shut down its fund forever and consider separating from the organization.

It is worth mentioning that in the last few days, the WHO issued a statement stating that their current budget is 2. 2.3 billion. Which is much less than that of a global organization. Apart from this, US funding has stopped so we need more funding.

Following US pressure, some other countries have called for a change in the WHO, as well as action against China. It is alleged that the WHO became aware of the corona virus in December but did not disclose it to the world.
