Two BJP MPs told me that China got chills

Amid ongoing tensions between India and China, two BJP MPs have said that China is upset.

Two BJP MPs, Meenakshi Lekhi from Delhi and Rahul Kaswan from Rajasthan, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen by video conferencing.

China has got chills because of it. A total of 92 dignitaries from 41 countries attended the swearing-in ceremony of the President. Including US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

China, on the other hand, has objected in writing to the involvement of BJP MPs, telling the Indian government that there is no need to interfere in China's internal affairs. Sai has done wrong by congratulating him.

China has never recognized Taiwan as a separate country. China is also outraged by India's support for Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization meeting.

Defending himself, BJP MP Kaswan said, "Congratulations to the President of Taiwan. It is in line with India's policy."
