The heat wave in North India is 49.6 in Churu and 47 in Delhi

Keeping people at home in the lockdown is now heating up. The country witnessed a scorching heat on Wednesday. Delhi has been in heat and hot weather for the last several days. Loonie effect is being felt in many areas of North and West and West India, including Delhi NCR. Delhi's Palam recorded a temperature of 47.2 degrees on Wednesday.

Apart from this, Safdarjung recorded 45.9 degrees Celsius, Lodhi Road 45.1 degrees Celsius and Ayanagar 46.7 degrees Celsius. Palam recorded a temperature of 47.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Apart from this, many areas of Rajasthan are facing severe heat and mercury in Churu district reached 50 degrees. This is the second time in the last 10 years that Churu has recorded such a high temperature in May.

According to the meteorological department, the relief in the plains of northern India will start from May 28 onwards. Temperatures will be slightly lower in parts of central India from May 29. According to Naresh Kumar, a senior meteorologist at the Meteorological Department, the change will be due to changes in the Himalayan region. It may rain in the plains.
