Srinagar, Ta. May 28, 2020, Thursday

In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces foiled a plot to carry out the Pulwama attack Part-2, but other explosive facts are coming to light.

Security forces have diffused about 40 kg of explosives in the Centro car. If the car had not been spotted by security forces, hundreds of soldiers might have been killed in the earlier attack in Pulwama.

Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh said that a white Centro car loaded with 40 kg of explosives had been receiving input for three or four days. The Centro car did not stop at some check posts. This made our suspicions even stronger. There were also reports of explosives in the car. Due to which the vigilance of the security forces was increased.

The case is now being investigated by the National Investigative Agency. A team will also visit the area. It has also been revealed that the number plate on the car from which the explosives were found belonged to a two-wheeler and the number belonged to a Kathua vehicle.

The terrorists were turning the vehicle away from the sight of the security forces and their intention was to use the car to detonate like Pulwama. However, the car was seized near Rajapura Road in Pulwama district. There was also a small explosion when the bomb squad evacuated the area and diffused the explosives.
