Second rocket to land from space in just 8 days, shocking event for Chinese space mission

Washington, Ta. 15 May 2020, Friday

In space, China's Long March 5B rocket broke down and split into several pieces, and its debris fell to the ground. Just a few days ago, on May 8, a Russian rocket Fregat-SB also shattered into space in 65 pieces. A few of its remains are believed to have fallen into the Indian Ocean and are being searched by US US18 Space Control Squadron. In 2019, the rocket lost contact with the control room.

Concerns are now rife among astronomers that China's rocket is being split into several pieces. This is also a shocking development for China's space program. One thing is certain in the case of these two rocket crashes. Scientists also learned at the last minute that the Frigate-SB had crashed and that a Chinese rocket had crashed and passed over the United States at the last minute.

The Chinese rocket was launched from the southern Chinese island of Hainan on May 5 by the Wenchang Center at a time when the entire world was battling the Corona. By launching this rocket, China tried to introduce its strength to the whole world and show that it is moving towards rapid development after liberation from the Corona.

The rocket reportedly went out of control due to a technical glitch and quickly began to fall into the Earth's atmosphere. The rocket entered Earth's atmosphere at 11:33 a.m. on May 11 and was passing through the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa, according to the U.S.1818 US Space Control Squadron. Fragments of the rocket were spotted in New York City 15 minutes after re-entry, according to Space Flight Now.

Notably, China is working on a plan to build a multi-module space station in space. It plans to launch three more such Long March 5B rockets in 2021 and 2022.
