(PTI) New delhi date. 13

Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will review all aspects taken by the central government with regard to Corona and call on the RBI governor to review the total damage to the nationwide lockdown and how many people have lost their jobs.

This information was given by Congress leader in the Lok Sabha and PAC chairman Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. He further said that the six-member committee is also likely to summon top officials, including the director general of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), for questioning.

Chaudhary further said that the committee would review the economic and health effects of Corona. The number of people who lost their jobs due to Corona will also be reviewed.

The PAC has not met for the past two months due to a two-month-long lockdown to curb the spread of Corona. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Speaker M Venkaiah Naidu have asked the secretaries of both the houses whether the PAC meeting is possible through video conferencing.
