Amid rising cases of Corona virus across the country, shocking news has come from Goa. Seven new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Goa. Just a few days ago, Goa was declared corona-free. In Goa, all the patients with coronary heart disease were cured and no new cases of infection have been reported in the last few days.

Seven new cases in Goa

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that seven new cases of corona have been reported in the state. According to him, all these people came from Mumbai and their rapid PCR test came positive. All of these people had no symptoms of infection but were sent to quarantine after being found to be infected. In addition, their samples have been sent to Goa Medical College for re-examination.

Discussion of 'Goa Model'

The seven new cases come at a time when Corona-free Goa is being discussed across the country and the adoption of the 'Goa model' to overcome the Corona transition. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday said some districts could follow the Goa model to curb the spread of the corona virus, which includes conducting door-to-door surveys and treating patients.

The Goa government had banned outbound traffic just two days before the announcement of a nationwide lockdown in view of the Koro transition. At the same time, the movement of people on beaches, restaurants and other public places was banned.

The decision was taken when not a single case of corona was reported in the state. The border with Maharashtra and Karnataka was closed and 24-hour monitoring was carried out as corona cases were on the rise in the country.

At the same time, there was an emphasis on testing and tracing in Goa. Those suspected of being infected with Corona were immediately quarantined and despite all these precautions, seven new cases came to light.
