Kejriwal government's pockets empty, asked the Center to pay Rs 5,000 crore

The pockets of the Kejriwal government in Delhi have been emptied amid the Corona crisis.

The Delhi government has sought Rs 5,000 crore from the Center, saying, "We don't even have the salary to pay the salaries of the staff, so this money should be given as soon as possible."

Delhi government minister Manish Sisodia said the lockdown imposed by the Corona has had a major impact on the Delhi government's tax collection and Delhi has not been treated like any other state by the Center.

He said the Delhi government needs Rs 3,500 crore for salary and other expenses. So far, Delhi has received Rs 1,735 crore. While the revenue was estimated at Rs 70,000 crore. The central government should provide immediate assistance of Rs 5,000 crore to Delhi. He has also written a letter to the finance minister for this.
