Indian army retaliates, killing two Pakistani soldiers

A four-year-old child was injured and two houses were damaged in firing by the Pakistani army on Thursday in the Uri sector areas near LoC in Baramulla.

The Indian Army has also responded to the firing. According to sources, the army retaliated by killing two Pakistani soldiers while one Pakistani outpost was badly damaged. This is the fourth incident of ceasefire violation in Uri sector in the last 25 days.

According to sources, at around 4 pm, Pakistani troops started firing in the Silikot, Churunda, Dhaikot, Nambala, Hathalanga and nearby areas of India in the LOC areas in the Uri sector. According to information received, the Pakistani army is using artillery.

The injured child has been admitted to Saura by the villagers with the help of the army at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. Indian troops also opened fire on Pakistani targets. The firing lasted until late at night. At the same time, security has been beefed up in key areas across North Kashmir.
