Hurricane Amphan has also caught the attention of people as the Corona epidemic continues to plague people. Extreme levels of wind and rain are expected in coastal areas of Orissa as a result of the cyclone. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Amphan is moving at a speed of 13 kilometers per hour over the central part of the Bay of Bengal and the west-central region. After receiving the news of the cyclonic storm on Sunday, today, as expected, Amfa has assumed a monstrous form.

The name Amphan sounds awkward. The hurricane is named after the names suggested by Thailand. A list of hurricane names is compiled in 2004 by five international meteorological committees around the world, sorting the first letters of suggested names from eight countries. Amphan is considered to be the last name in this list.

As a result of this warning, the Orissa government has started preparations to evacuate 1.1 million people living on the coast. Heavy winds are likely to damage power poles and infrastructure. Farmers are worried about damage to crops and crops grown in coastal areas. The epicenter was reported 790 km south of Odisha's Paradwip. It is located 940 km from Deedha in West Bengal and southwest of Khepupara in Bangladesh. The coastal areas of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadvak and Balasore in Odisha seem to be particularly affected by the cyclone.

As Hurricane Amphan approaches the coastal area, its speed is likely to increase gradually to 200 km per hour. Apart from Odisha, the coastal region of West Bengal is also under threat. According to the information received, on the 20th, Hurricane Amphan will cross the coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal. Workers' express trains carrying Odisha workers stranded in other states have been suspended following a lockdown caused by the Corona virus in the wake of Hurricane Amphan.
