Poonch, Ta. May 26, 2020, Tuesday

Amid the Koro crisis, Pakistan's nefarious moves are still there. Pakistan has been violating the ceasefire for the last several days. Also on Tuesday, there was cross-border shelling in Jammu and Kashmir. The Line of Control (LoC) was hit by a mortar shell fired by Pakistan in the Balkot sector of Poonch district, to which the Indian Army responded with a barrage. Incidents of ceasefire violations on the LOC have been on the rise for the past several days.

The firing by the Pakistani army in the Balkot sector has reportedly killed several cattle and damaged several houses. The Pakistani army started firing with light and heavy weapons at 3 am targeting military and military bases in the Balkot sector.

Mortar attacks by the Pakistani army caused panic among the people in the middle of the night. The Pakistani artillery then calmed down with the army's retaliatory action. The midnight incident is causing fear among the people.
