Defense Minister Rajnath Singh meets CDS and three army chiefs amid rising tensions between China

As tensions between India and China continue on the border, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Vipin Rawat and the three army chiefs to discuss national security.

China has deployed 5,000 troops at various locations near the border amid growing tensions between India and China over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

India is also increasing the number of its troops in the same number, India is also increasing the deployment of troops in other areas. So that the Chinese army could not attack from there.

Daulatbagh Oldy and its adjoining areas have 81 Indian Army brigades and 114 brigades deployed to intercept Chinese troops, who have been airlifted by helicopter with the help of the Air Force.

Indian military sources said that Chinese and cargo vehicles have reached Indian territory in Pangong Tso Lake and Finger Area on both sides of the LAC.

In the Galwan Nala area, the Chinese have moved 10-15 km from the Indian Post KM120, and have set up tents.

According to sources, the Chinese army is building roads in front of Indian bunkers, the Indian side has objected to this but they have continued the infrastructure work.

The Indian Army is building a bridge in the Galwan area. The Chinese military has also raised concerns and increased troop deployments.

Army chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane traveled to Ladakh last week to review the situation, where Chinese troops had set up about 100 tents.
