COVID-19 Live Updates: 6977 new cases reported in the country today; The death toll from 154 reached 4,021

Corona virus is still rampant in the state. Corona cases are on the rise in the state like wildfire. Jyanti Ravi, front secretary, health department, state government, gave details of the total cases of corona virus in the last 24 hours.
Informing about this, Principal Secretary Health Jayanti Ravi said that 405 new cases have been registered in the state in the last 24 hours. While 30 people have died. A total of 224 patients have been discharged from the hospital in a single day today. With this, a total of 6,636 discharges have taken place so far.
Out of 405 cases registered in Gujarat, 310 cases have been reported in Ahmedabad alone. While 31 cases have been reported in Surat, 18 in Vadodara.
With 405 more cases in Gujarat, the number of corona cases in Gujarat has gone up to 14,468. Of which 109 have been placed on a ventilator. While 6835 people are stable, 6636 people have been discharged and 888 people have died.
With 310 new cases registered in Ahmedabad, the total number of Coro positive cases has gone up to 10,590. While 722 people have died while 4,187 people have been discharged, 5,681 cases are active.
With 31 new cases registered in Surat today, the total number of cases has gone up to 1,351 while 62 people have died while 931 people have been discharged while 358 cases are active.
As far as Vadodara is concerned, with 18 new cases registered today, the total number of cases has risen to 854, with 35 deaths, 510 discharges and 309 active cases.
