Corona virus reaches Madhya Pradesh Raj Bhavan premises, report of 6 came positive

Corona virus has reached Raj Bhavan in Madhya Pradesh. According to sources in the state health department and Bhopal district administration, at least 6 people working in Raj Bhavan have tested positive. It also includes the lower staff of the Raj Bhavan and their families. Each of these people lives in the staff quarters of the campus. If their Covid-19 test was done on Wednesday, the reports of 6 people have come positive.

It has been declared a restricted area by the Tantra after the case of Corona came up in the Raj Bhavan, the residence of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. District Collector Tarun Pithodo issued the order on Wednesday. Sources at the Raj Bhavan said that a sample of Governor Lalji Tandon, who was the first patient of Kovid-19 in the premises of the Raj Bhavan, was also taken.

"Everyone living in the restricted area will have to live in their own homes and will be closed here," the order said. Meanwhile, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson told the media that the son of a Raj Bhavan employee had contracted Korona a few days back. He said that the employee lives with his family in the accommodation made for the employees in the Raj Bhavan premises. Family members of the employee later became infected with Corona.
