BJP MP accused of threatening Muslim woman who bought from a Hindu shop

New delhi date. 18 May 2020, Monday

Recently, a BJP leader in UP threatened a Muslim vegetable grower. Now BJP Karnataka MP Shobha Karandalaj has shared a video in which some people are threatening a Muslim woman to buy from a Hindu shop.

Shobha shared the video and wrote, "Is Karnataka an Islamic republic where extremists are threatening a woman because she has bought clothes from a Hindu shopkeeper?" Some fundamentalists in this country want Sharia law to be enforced. They should be made aware of the law.

The MP also tweeted and tagged the Home Ministry and Amit Shah.

Even amid the lockdown, cases of spreading hatred in the name of religion are coming up. Last month, a BJP MLA chased away a Muslim vegetable grower in Lucknow. Because he was selling vegetables under a Hindu name.

Another video of a BJP UP MLA appealing to Hindus not to buy from Muslim vendors also went viral.
