After running buses for UP students, the Rajasthan government sent a bill of Rs 55 lakh

New Delhi, May 22, 2020, Friday

A new chapter of bus politics has started in UP.

The governments of UP and Rajasthan have come up with this to run the bus. The Rajasthan government had slapped a bill of Rs 36 lakh on UP for rushing buses to take home UP students trapped in Rajasthan's Kota. The UP government has also paid this amount.

Earlier, the UP government had paid a bill of Rs 19 lakh for diesel in buses. Students were brought to UP from Kota in April, with the help of buses from Rajasthan.

In order to send workers to their homes in UP, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi had offered to run 1,000 buses from Rajasthan to UP. Meanwhile, the BJP has now got a chance to target the Congress government in Rajasthan for charging bus fares for UP students.
