5 killed as truck overturns in Madhya Pradesh after UP's Auraiya

Five workers were killed and 20 others were injured when a truck heading from Madhya Pradesh to Chhatarpur overturned. Local officials have arrived at the scene and launched a rescue operation. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. As soon as the incident was reported, a team of police from Sagar and Chhatarpur districts rushed to the spot and rescue operation was launched.

The country is undergoing a lockdown on the corona virus. Its biggest impact has been on migrant labor. One is fleeing for lack of work and money. On the other hand, many places have lost their lives due to road accidents. The double whammy of the lockdown can be estimated from the fact that 99 people have lost their lives in different parts of the country in ten days.

This is the third truck accident in a day
The Gamkhwar road accident took place on Saturday morning in Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district. The incident took place on the Delhi-Kolkata highway when a DCM vehicle full of laborers was parked near a dhaba for tea and water when it was hit by a trolley laden with lime. The tragedy has so far killed 24 people and sent 21 to the district hospital. Also, 15 people have been referred to Saifai.

So the second incident of truck accident has taken place on National Highway 44 on the board of Maharashtra Telangana. A truck carrying about 70 workers overturned at 3:30 p.m. 20 laborers were seriously injured in the incident.
