1 lakh crore assistance for agricultural organization and work related to agriculture, will increase the income of farmers

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is giving the third breakup of the Rs 20 lakh crore 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan' package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today, mainly agriculture, animal husbandry, fishing industries are making announcements.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the steps taken for the last five to six years through various schemes for farmer welfare have benefited millions of farmers. Helps farmers in exports, but Rs 1 lakh crore will be provided for lack of storage and breeding. This will also help in raising prices and increase the income of farmers. In the last 2 months, Rs 74,300 crore was procured on MSP to help farmers, the finance minister said. Rs 18,700 crore has been transferred to the PM Kisan account. 6400 crore crop insurance scheme claimed.

Special emphasis on organic and clusterbase farming
10 thousand crore executive cluster base will be for agriculture marketing. Special emphasis will be laid on herbal, organic production and organic farming as well as cluster based farming in the country. We will improve the standards in farm products and bring them to the world market. 10 thousand crore for agricultural food version as well as technological improvement and branding for the local market. Which is a cluster base scheme. Which will provide employment to the people. Not all states can be talked about but if we look for example, we will deliver the main crop products of different states like saffron in Kashmir, chillies in Andhra, all over the world.

20 thousand crore announcement for fisheries industry
The Prime Minister's Fisheries Wealth Project has brought in Rs 20,000 crore. Fishermen and boat insurance are also covered. In which 11 thousand crore rupees will be used for inland fisheries and its associated, 9 thousand crore will be used on cold chain, market, mandis. Fee production will be higher which will provide employment to the next 55 lakh people. And 1 lakh crore rupees will be exported. Production will increase to 70 lakh tonnes in the next 5 years. Fisheries will boost employment and exports through production.

Fishermen will be given a new boat
The Finance Minister has said that the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. It has been announced in the budget. This will be implemented immediately due to corona. Fishermen will also be given a new boat. 55 lakh people will get employment. So that India's exports increase to 1 lakh crore rupees. Over 7 million tonnes of fish will be produced in the next 5 years.

500 crore for beekeeping industry
Beekeeping is a complementary industry to agriculture. It has now allocated Rs 500 crore to give special incentives to the honey sector so that farmers can earn extra income even from beekeeping. About 2 lakh farmers in the state will get help in farming through beekeeping. There is a complementary source of income for beekeeping in rural areas. From local to global, a big step can be taken in that direction. Honey exports can also get a boost through beekeeping.

Special plan for herbal product
An herbal park will be set up in 10 lakh hectares. In which various medicinal crops will be cultivated. Cultivation of herbal products will generate Rs 5,000 crore for farmers. There will be special benefits for the cultivation of medicinal crops. Plantation will be done in thousands of acres along the Ganges. Rs 4,000 crore will be allocated for herbal farming. Currently, herbal medicines have come in handy during the Corona era. The government has allocated Rs 4,000 crore to promote herbal plants. For this, with the help of National Medicinal Plants Boards, it will be cultivated in 25 lakh hectares, which will generate an income of five thousand crore rupees to the farmers. Along with the cultivation of folk medicine, its network will also be expanded.

Animal husbandry business will get momentum
In order to boost the animal husbandry business in the country, vaccination will be done for Kharwamovasa disease found in cattle. Cows, buffaloes and goats will be vaccinated at 10 per cent. The target is to vaccinate 53 crore animals. It will cost Rs 13,343 crore to eradicate Kharwa Movas disease. It is also important to ensure that milk is not wasted in animal husbandry. For which Rs 15,000 crore has been allocated. In order to increase the value of milk in the country and to market milk products, special arrangements will be made for value addition and valuation of milk products worth Rs.
