A US newspaper has blasted why President Donald Trump is putting so much emphasis on malaria patients' hydroxychloroquine drug for treating coronary patients in the United States.
The US newspaper reports that if hydroxychloroquine is successful, treatment may allow its use worldwide. This is Trump's financial investment in Sanofi, a French company that manufactures the same drug. This company sells the hydroxychloroquine drug called placanil. Trump also has close ties with the company's top executives.
As millions of people suffer from malaria in India, they are widely produced in India.
Some doctors in the United States are using this medicine to treat patients and they claim that this medicine is helping too. So another group of doctors is saying, there is no such evidence.
