Bihar leader and former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav's hopes of getting out of jail are back on the water.
At present, Lalu Prasad Yadav is in Jharkhand jail for financial mismanagement. In view of the increasing prevalence of Corona, Jharkhand has been sentenced to less than seven years in jail and a state government meeting against which the government does not oppose parole of prisoners who do not have economic crime cases.
However, since Lalu Prasad Yadav is accused of economic crime, he will no longer get parole. We will have to stay in jail.
There are currently 18,000 inmates in Jharkhand.
