India game changer to make corona treatment, make 20 million hydroxychloroquine tablets in 30 days

There is an atmosphere of fear all over the world because of the corona virus. Thousands have died and millions of people have been affected by it so far. On the other hand, the clouds of fear are also rising against the countries known as super powers of the world. US President Donald Trump has sought India's help in the treatment of malaria, a hydroxychloroquine drug used in the outbreak of the Corona virus epidemic. A drug called hydroxychloroquine can cure the corona virus. The media is claiming that this drug can be a game changer.

India has also lifted the ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine due to the demand for Amrita Demand. It is being said that the whole world is sitting across India for this drug as 70% of the total production of this drug is produced in India. It is being claimed that India exported $ 1.22 billion worth of Hydroxychloroquine API from April 2019 to January 2020.

On the other hand, Sudarshan Jain, general secretary of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA), says the ability to produce this drug in India is very impressive. India has the capacity to produce 40 tonnes of medicine in 30 days. That is, 20 million tablets of 20 ml can be made.

At present, the government is trying to figure out how many medicines India will need to fight the corona virus. At the same time, the export ban on US demand has been lifted. In view of this, the production of hydroxychloroquine has been increased.

The composition of the hydroxychloroquine drug is similar to that of chloroquine. But the Corona virus has been banned in several countries because scientists have not yet found any evidence that the drug will work against Corona. However, where corona infection is high, it is allowed to be used.
