In the battle against Corona, renowned businessman Azim Premji will use 1125 crore

In the war against Corona, the corporate world has been helping open after PM Modi's appeal.

Thousands of crores of rupees has been donated to the PM Care Fund. Meanwhile, the Wipro group of renowned businessman Azim Premji has announced to raise Rs 1125 crore in the fight against Corona.

Although the group has not talked about donating to the PM Care Fund, it has decided to do so through its own foundation. The company said Rs 1125 crore has been allocated for humanitarian and health facilities in view of the unprecedented crisis caused by the corona.

Azim Premji Foundation will employ a team of 1,600 employees.

Earlier, Tata Group had announced Rs 1500 crore and Reliance Group 500 crore. Apart from this, well-known corporate groups like Adani Vedanta, Paytm and Jindal Group have also announced donations of hundreds of crores in total.
