How long will the lockdown take? Bookings closed until April 30 in private trains of Railways

It was reported two days ago that after April 14, the railway could start phase-wise train service.

However, once the booking of private trains has stopped, speculation has started that the lockdown period will now increase. Private trains have started booking on May 1, 2020 and thereafter.

A senior Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation official responsible for managing the private trains of the railway said that the railway's private train had been canceled from April 15 to 30 and hence its bookings were stopped.

According to him, when booking resumed for the date following lockdown, there are bookings in the well-known trains of the railway but it is difficult to operate the entire train as there is very little booking in private trains. Therefore, the trains are canceled till the end of April. Whoever has booked in the Tejas Express will get a refund.
