Chhattisgarh release 1478 prisoners following Supreme Court order

Corona virus releases prisoners from prison!

Of the eight prisoners in various Chhattisgarh prisons for fear of mutual infection among the inmates, the group has been released on interim bail of less than three months. Six prisoners have been allowed to be granted bail for more than three months. Two prisoners have been released on parole, while 5 are released after completing their sentence.

It is well-known that the Supreme Court has ordered to reduce the deployment of prisoners in the country's prisons in relation to Corona.

The Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel, has urged the authorities to ensure that strict instructions on social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands frequently in prisons to prevent the spread of Corona virus Covid-1. He has ordered the new prisoners to be kept in different barracks of the prisons. A thermal scanner and hand sanitizer are said to be placed at the entrance of the prison.
