African Swine Fever Increases Risk of One More Disease Among Corona Virus

Wakanda, Ta. 12 April 2020 Sunday

Among the risks of the Corona Virus, another illness for the world is going to cause trouble. Swine fever, which has been on the rise for the past few months, is now taking a risk. At present, death has been confirmed from this fever in India. But now the disease has also been reported in western Poland.

According to a media report, the disease is spreading rapidly in a village just 150 km from the border with Germany. The virus is becoming very dangerous to pandemics, and experts believe that it can easily reach humans. Its outbreak is already underway in China. As a result, about 40% of the plots have been cleared.

Impact on Pork Production

In fact, the African Swine Fever is tearing down small pig farms and factories. The source of the transition was purchased from ASF positive piglets in the middle of March by Agri Plus, a subsidiary of Smith Field Foods, the owner of the farm. Officials say there are more than 10,000 piglets in western Poland. However due to the corona, there have been stops at every movement.

The ASF decision threatens not only Germany but the whole of Europe. Germany is also the EU's second largest pork producer. Pork is also exported to China, South Korea and Japan. Currently, it is reported that China has banned pork. Chinese sanctions on German pork could flood the European Union market, affecting prices.

The wild boar is also coming in an instant

There is heavy pressure on German pork producers as ASF is spreading not only in pig farms but also in wilderness and it is very difficult to control. So far 1,600 cases of ASF have been reported in the wild in Poland. Poland passed a special law, called the ASF, in December last year, giving police hunting unions plenty of power in maintaining wild plots. However, hunting unions are regularly accused of neglecting security measures and spreading illness rather than helping.

Increased difficulties for Greece, Bulgaria, North Macedonia China

Last year, African swine fever spread in China. Due to this epidemic, there have been 1.4 billion pesos in the last two years. This number of plots is exactly the population of China. Due to such an enormous amount of sugar being killed, Chinese meat prices are forecast to rise this year. In fact, China is at the forefront of the production of sugar beef. China is the most consumed mass in the world. There is no vaccine for the disease, and it is being described as more dangerous.

What is ASF?

African swine fever is a highly contagious and curable disease that causes psoriasis. There is no possibility of surviving infected pods. Humans, however, are not threatened by it. Even the experts are not saying that humans are not influenced by it. In fact, if it is transmitted to animals, it is not thought to spread to humans and this disease can be just as deadly as corona.
