Yusuf Ali becomes the first Indian to receive Saudi Arabia's green card

Abu Dhabi-based Indian retail businessman May A Yusuf Ali has become the first Indian to receive Saudi Arabia's green card, his office said in a statement.

64-year-old Yusuf Ali, chairman of Lulu Group, was featured in Forbes Magazine's list of wealthiest foreigners in the UAE last year. Having received the green card of Yousuf Ali Saudi Arabia, he will now be able to live, work and do his business and buy property without any sponsor.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced a Vision 2030 reform plan to boost Saudi Arabia's economy. Under this advertisement only premium residency is being provided.

On this occasion, Yusuf Ali said in a statement that it was a matter of pride for me and it was a momentous moment in my life. This achievement is an honor not only to me but to the entire Indian NRI community.

I heartily thank King Salman, HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi Arabia Government. Yusuf Ali also said that the Saudi Arabia government's plan would increase investment in the country and attract new investors.

Under this initiative of the Government of Saudi Arabia, the distinguished individuals and investors of various fields including sports, arts and culture are to be brought to Saudi. It is worth mentioning that Lulu Group operates more than 35 hyper markets and supermarkets in Saudi Arabia and also includes Aramco Commissaris and National Guard Super Stores.
