The tradition of jumping 10 to 15 feet high in Holi festival in Mathura falls


Mathura, March 9, 2020,

On Monday, a village called Phalan is located on Koshi Shergarh Road, 3 km away from Mathura. It is also situated about 3 km from Koshi. The village also houses the ancient temple of Bhakti Prahlad and a kund. People celebrate Holi in the vast square of the village. A group of youths from the village bathe in the kund near the temple and jump through the flames of the sky. The height of these jars is 2 to 5 feet. The Ghia tradition has been around for years.


Strangely, more than 3,000 people gather to watch the youngsters jumping in the flames of this fire in Falna. Foreigners also become guests of the village to witness this adventure in the Holi of Falan village. This tradition has been going on for centuries. According to people, this tradition is as old as Bhakti Prahlad and Holika Dahan. Besides Phalan, people from the surrounding five villages gather at the Holi festival .The huge pandal is prepared.

The village provides fire safety and security through local administration. Youth who participate in the Holi Practice Practice begin 7 days ago. They also meditate so as not to distract. Up to a month ago, fasting and food controlled the water. Despite the burning of fire and the burning of Sangopang, there has never been any injury or burn.
